Beneath My Heart

We got an old antique claw foot tub off of Craigslist last year. My husband refinished it with a kit from Lowe's. Click on the link for the full tutorial of how he did it.

My husband & I are redoing our bathroom. I would so like to have a claw-foot tub. Since Our house was made in the 1930's. My husband grew up in this house. We would like to have some of the original vintage bathroom wares. "With a new fresh look!" We are going to purchase the old sink soon. Someone who lived here beforehand had ruined so many areas around this house. But with love & care it is starting to turn out real nice. 2 rooms done & 41/2 more rooms to go. Not including an add on to the house. Can't wait till it is done. One of our biggest areas is the outside. Abestoes shingles around the house. And an old tin roof. Will be replaced. Hopefully by next year.

It's beautiful! I have an Eagle Claw Foot tub that was a barn find. The interior is in nice shape. The exterior has an un-known type of paint cracking off and will need re done. What kind of paint did he use on the outside of the tub.
