Bar Keeper's Friend -- I had a huge double shower with a lot of hardwater deposits. I tried this product and it was amazing. It made the glass really sparkle. If you can't find it at your local hardware store, Amazon carries it.

Use scrubbing Bubbles to get the topical "stuff." And then use a "CLR" solutio ( 1 part CLR to 4 parts water, then scrub. Might have to repeat if heavy build-up. Get a shower squeegee to pull water off after each shower--if you can get the rest of your household to "do their part."

follow the initial cleaning instructions in the answer provided by Rebaaye below, and after you squeegee once, let it dry completely. THEN use Magic Shower Glass and Mirror Cleaner, by simply spraying on, letting it run down and nearly dry... sop up anything that drips onto yout tile or stone at the bottoms of the glass, but this stuff is amazing! It says that it will work for 7 days, but here in San diego, where hard water is really fully of salt deposits, after the second treatment in a month, I have NO, zero, water spots, and don't treat follow up for about a one month intervals... (Don't breathe the fumes too deeply, when you are spraying the squeeze bottle, but other than that it is actually a MIRACLE!

Best cleaner for your shower doors that is not only eco friendly but also inexpensive and safe around children and pets is; vinegar, baking soda, a few drops of Dawn dish soap (the original blue Dawn) and water. You can add in some alcohol for added disinfecting power. If you would like it to smell nice you can add in a few drops of your favourite fragrance oil like lavender. I don't recall the ratios for the ingredients, but if you google search or search on Pintrest you should be able to find the recipe.

Use ceramic cook top cleaner. Works a treat. If really bad you may need a cook top scraper as well.

I have been scrubbing my shower door's hard water stains with no results. The web said to try Lemon Pledge or Bar Keeper's Friend. I tried the Pledge first and it didn't seem to work, so I tried the Barkeeper's friend on the same spot and a little more. The area where I used both is now spotless. Yay! Pledge first, scrub, wipe off. Bar Keepers friend on a moist sponge, scrub, rinse. Easy!
