Painting Front Door and Removing Window Film

Johnchip on Sep 23, 2016Love that house. You can get a pack of 25-50 different colors of construction paper for a couple bucks. You can then put up different color stips and see what they look like at a distance. Narrow down your choices then got to the variety of those colors in paint chip/cards to find the tone or shade of the color you like best.Helpful Reply

Cindy Hagemann on Sep 23, 2016A teal or blueish door (see photo) would look great on your house! You might consider removing the screen to door for better curb appeal. Also, to remove the window film: spray bottle of straight ammonia, spray it onto the window film and immediately cover the ammonia-wet area with a layer of plastic wrap. After about 30 minutes you should be able to remove the film with a straight blade scraper or putty knife. Good luck with both and enjoy your house!Helpful Reply
