Painting Front Door and Removing Window Film

I really want to give my front door a pop of color. Any suggestions on color? Also I bought my house with that window film on the front window any suggestions how to get it off? Thanks, I appreciate any help!
I bought my house a couple years ago and slowly making it mine.

Love that house. You can get a pack of 25-50 different colors of construction paper for a couple bucks. You can then put up different color stips and see what they look like at a distance. Narrow down your choices then got to the variety of those colors in paint chip/cards to find the tone or shade of the color you like best.

A teal or blueish door (see photo) would look great on your house! You might consider removing the screen to door for better curb appeal. Also, to remove the window film: spray bottle of straight ammonia, spray it onto the window film and immediately cover the ammonia-wet area with a layer of plastic wrap. After about 30 minutes you should be able to remove the film with a straight blade scraper or putty knife. Good luck with both and enjoy your house!

Thank you MarketingMomx4, I was thinking teal but wasn't sure it would go with the brown. I will try the ammonia trick!
