What can I do with these light globes?

Hello to all :) Awhile back I saw a post on what to do with LIGHT GLOBES. I have pendants lighting and we took them down for a new look in our kitchen. I hate throwing them out or donating them because they are so pretty. I saw a posting on Hometalk as an idea on what to do with the globes.
Does anybody recall or have any suggestions on what to do with the globes? I sure appreciate some feed back.
Thank you so much,
Janet
These are the globes and was able to save the decorative part with the globe. I don't really need them but would be so unique :)

take the globe off and cut a piece of wood and put a small candle in it. you can make them single candles or make a strip of them.

Is the decorative part attached to the long straight part? If so, and they can stand on their own, you can use them with candles in the house or in the garden. If they are top heavy or can't stand on their own, you can weight the bottom or stick them in a plant pot or in the ground. If you only have the globes and decorative part, you could find a way to mount them to a piece of stained or painted wood to make sconces.

Yes yes yes....I have seen them and have done this...put outside with solar lights for patio,or walkway...make a hanging arrangement with solar lights from your porch or patio, hang from a tree with solar lights ..or use a small flower pots with plants in the house, succulents etc. use as candle holders. I am drooling here!

I used my old ceiling fan globes as candle holders. I removed the globes from their brass brackets and turned them upside down, like torchieres. I then chose some candle holders made for pillar candles to set them on. I added battery operated tealights for a warm glow. I decorated mine with ribbon but you can buy ready made floral candle rings. You can also choose whatever size candleholder too. From gothic floor models to short tabletop ones. Possibilities are endless! I hope this is what you had in mind.

Yes,( ha) what hermit said..is what I meant! I got so excited I wasn't clear enough. Another idea,If you wrap wire around the small end,you can hang them from a tree discretely in between leaves and branches...unexpected whimsy. I saw a post with all sorts of glass globes hanging from a tree. It was unexpected and if I was driving I would have stopped just to admire it. You can stick them in the soil or in little pots along your walk way or garden with solar lights in them. Ohh I might have said this! Sorry,I am looking at my patio with the sun coming through the hummingbird feeder ...thinking if I had your light globes...hmmm I could hang them in these little trees and they would sparkle in the sun! Oh well....do let us know what you do...we like to see the end result, and so many dont show it.
