My mom had a new floating "hardwood" floor installed - I imagine you could do that yourself.

Please post photographs - then maybe we can help you! Perhaps, also give us a clue as to your budget. Without seeing anything, I'd suggest you keep clutter to a minimum and have the interior as light as possible but photographs would help us to help you!

Photos would help. We're in a 90s era manufactured home. Address important issues first....roof, plumbing, wiring. Then have fun making it over to your style and tastes.

First thing we did was replace old carpet with laminate. Repainted every wall in the home. Next was kitchen . Painted cabinets and new appliances. Just do what feels good to you in colors you love.

Invest in new windows if the budget allows. Upgrade the outside steps. They usually have those cheap looking fiberglass ones. Whatever you decide to do, please post a before and after. Best wishes and congratulations on your new home.

Thank you Connie. The windows are all new. The steps are concrete and I plan on painting them. I will post before and afters of course! ;)
