Tarnished Silver Candelabra, Hydrangeas, Berries and Painted Candles

I was so lucky one day on a Facebook shopping trip. I was out to get an antique bed and left with a bed, two tables and a silver candelabra. I am in love with the candelabra. It is slightly tarnished, just the way I like it. I was not home an hour and I had the arrangement done. The other things will have to wait as they involve more work. I have full instructions on my blog on how to arrange the flowers and also how to paint the candles for this arrangement. And best of all it is something you can do really quick. You will not have the same silver candelabra, but you can get creative and come up with your own container. The options are limitless. If you do not have a flower frog like my flower bowl, make mine with scotch tape and an elastic band. Use the scotch tape to make the squares across the container and then put the elastic band around the container to keep the tape in place.
This little arrangement only took about five minutes to make. It just looks like it took longer. The colours look really fresh in my green kitchen. They could be changed to fall colours just by adding some leaves or some mums.
