DIY Barn Decorated for Fall

This year I thought I would decorate the barn porch for Fall.
With dwindling daylight hours, work on the barn takes on a much slower pace...but it is still coming along.
For the barn, we used new materials for the frame and the structure.

But the charm and the soul of the building came from 4 different barns, 2 different corn cribs, and a hog pen.

The contributions from these 7 buildings include old barn wood, rusty tin, old fencing and antique barn door hardware.

I love old barns so I didn't want this one to be perfect...I wanted it to feel like it had a history even though it was kinda new.

With completion in site...the fun begins...I get to decorate for Fall!
I felt the traditional orange pumpkins suited the old-timey feel of the porch.

The leafy stuff in my rusty bucket is ornamental kale.
Strips of leftover rusty tin look cute on the pumpkin stems.
I came across our little red Christmas truck in our storage and figured it would look just as cute with pumpkins and hay.
Old sap buckets are perfect for hanging on ladders.

I added some dried leaves and a few mini pumpkins.
Flea market finds, corn stalks, hay bales, and pumpkins are an inexpensive way to add a little fall to any porch.

If you would like to see more of my journey I would love for you to stop by my blog.

Happy Fall Y'all!
