My two dogs frequently mis fire on the wee wee pads we have on our cement patio. The odor is getting strong. What can I use on the cement to eliminate the urine smell?

spray the patio down with white vinegar and leave it on long enough to kill the odor. Then apply baking soda.

Make a paste of baking soda and vinegar. Put on the area and leave it there until dry then brush it away.

If baking soda and vinegar don't work, you could: 1. Pour straight alcohol over the area, and allow it to dry. OR 2. Pour diluted chlorine bleach over the area, and allow it to dry.

Get a product from Bubba's Rowdy Friends. Get pet stink out of anything. Find them on Facebook, among other places.

Go to Lowes and buy a gallon of Odor-ban. It is concentrated so follow the directions on the bottle to dilute. Absolutely the best.

Hi. I have heard that tomato sauce/ketchup poured over the pee and then washed off helps with the smell and stain.

I ran several Hotels that accepted pets. Pets sometimes had 'accidents' in the rooms. We tried everything, our carpets were extremely clean but smelled of pet urine. Our budget wouldn't cover replacing the carpets so in a bit of desperation we flooded the carpets with vinegar and let it dry on its own. Once the vinegar smell was gone so was the urine smell. I saved several thousands of dollars recovering the carpets in pet rooms this way.

Just regular white vinegar that you buy in the grocery store. I also had a car that I had left the windows down and it rained. Poured out of the sky and soaked the inside of my car. What a smell, it was horrid. I could not get rid of the stink, so I heavily sprayed (soaked) the inside of my car, seats and floor. Rolled up the windows and let it dry. When the vinegar smell was gone, so was the horrid odor. I had that car another four years and I never had a problem with any odors. I swear by vinegar.

Once again, white vinegar, or if you don't have it on hand, lemon juice will work just as well. Have moved to a new home with three lemon trees and I brought a dwarf one with us ! have found lots that I can use lemons for in cleaning, bleaching rust stains out of fabric amongst other things.

Thank you so much for your white vinegar solution. I applied it over the entire patio, added a healthy dose of baking soda and I'll be darned if the odor was eliminated the next day when I washed it off. Thank you so much!

      Hi there

I am about to try this on my patio, which is around 3m2. I’ve got enough vinegar for it but should I add the baking soda to the vinegar before pouring over? Otherwise I’m guessing I will need a huge amount of baking soda to cover the area.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

      Thanks.

Amazon sells many. I use white vinegar & a couple drops of BLUE DAWN or my cat urine. Neutrilizes the smell. I use it to kill ANTS..THEY HATE WHITE vinegar. Cleans to bathroom & shower..Use smallamount..or you will SLIP & HAVE BIG BUBBLE MESS.
