Knitted Cushion With Knitted Flowers

I recently got back into knitting after not doing any at all for about 26 years! Even back then I mostly knit baby things and did not deem myself an expert in any way. Having recently taken it up again, I started off with some simple cushion covers. I did not use patterns for these, rather just tried out a few different stitches and just knit till it seemed large enough to cover the cushion. I later found a simple pattern for knitted flowers. I did want to try crochet flowers but never crocheted before and it was beyond me I must admit! Settled on these simple knitted flowers instead.

@Janet Keel I don't crochet but a friend tried to show me how to do crochet flowers - trying to walk before I could run - ha ha! I found these super easy flowers to knit and went with them instead as I could not get the hang of crochet.

Thanks. I think they might go well attached to children's knitted hats or scarves too. Little girls would love them. Or even to a tea cosy for a nanna.
