I have a bunch of vases that I received with flower arrangements (my hubby likes to give them to me on special occasions). They are pretty cheap, and I don’t often use them; they just sit on top of my breakfront collecting dust. This great décor idea spruces up the vases for just a few pennies and gives them a whole new life using temporary tattoos. I know, right? Temporary tattoos? Trust me on this, they look great! And it's also a great way to decorate for a party or holiday. The best part is when you get tired of them, you can simply clean them off with rubbing alcohol.
Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
Here are some of my vases that need a little bit of style.
You will need an old vase, dollar store temporary tattoos, and a damp sponge (not pictured).

Step 2: Add a Tattoo
Following the directions on the temporary tattoo, I pressed the tattoo on the vase with a damp sponge (you can also use a cloth or paper towel). Remember to keep it damp but not wet.

Step 3: Peel the Paper
Peel the damp paper off, and you're left with a gorgeous design on your vase. It's that simple. Feel free to add as many as you want to your vase.
This one I did in a spring theme.
This one was definitely more whimsical. I think I'm going to put some cookie cutters and other baking utensils in this one.
This one is my favorite, but that's because I'm a sucker for metallic. Don't they look so edgy?
I honestly love this adorable decor idea.
You can even add these to small glasses and fill them with party favors.
Look how well it matches my décor now.

Are they permanent? Would it be best to spray paint a light coat of protective coating to make them permanent? I do love your idea!! 😎
