Halloween is just around the corner, and I'm so excited to start decorating! this adorable project is definitely one of my favorites. These painted wine glasses fit perfectly on my console table, and they're so easy and cheap to make! If you have old wine glasses lying around, you should definitely try this decor project for Halloween. Step 1: Gather Your Supplies
All you need is a sharpie, acrylic paint, a paint brush, and wine glasses. I found that cheap glass, as opposed to the more expensive crystal glass, worked better with the paint. I had a few mismatched glasses from old sets that we had broken one too many of, but you can also find wine glasses at the thrift store easily. Step 2: Paint Your Glasses
I painted the top part of the glass (the cup part) in orange, with occasional bits of yellow and brown to add some dimension. You can choose any color you like, but I was trying to keep the jack-o-lantern theme, and those are orange.
Then I painted the stem green. (Sorry I don't have a picture of this, but it's fairly simple to understand.) Step 3: Draw the Face
Once the paint has dried, draw on the face. I'm actually impressed by how well these faces came out. I used a sharpie, because it gives me more control, but you can just as easily paint it in with black paint instead.
Then I just filled in the spots. Don't worry if you don't stay in the lines, no one will notice if it’s not perfect.
How cute is that?! I love these things.

I have done this and went a little further and bought different shapes of glasses the $ store and used tea lights under the glass. Had a glow just like a jack-a- lantern. Added a green pipe cleaner to make a leaf around the neck of the glass. We also did a reindeer, snowman and Santa. Love the effect they made on my cabinet.
