Going Batty This Halloween...

I bought some Martha Stewart Bat Silhouettes at Joannes. But you could just as easily, trace them onto black craft paper, & cut them out.
Marthas' came in 2 sizes. I wanted some baby bats, so I clipped the wings off a few.
I had a twig wreath stored away. And this is JUST the project for it!
With the winds we get here, I couldn't trust the sticky dots that came with the kit. So I dabbed on a dot of hot glue besides...and placed the bats randomly in flight.
I started with a pretty plain doorway. Trick or Treaters wouldn't like THAT!
Hung my wreath & it was coming together!
Painted a couple pumpkins...Put out a basket & added a pretty mum.
A broken tree branch & many bats later....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

Very nice! Love Halloween and go all out for the trick or treaters but my bats and spiders always fall off the house, how do you attach them without doing damage to the house?

TY Dawn. On the wreath I used hot glue. On the house & door I used the sticky dots that came with the kit, AND some tape, (just in case). But I must confess, this area never gets wet from rain, much wind, or snow. The way the house sits, it is kind of protected from the elements.
