Fall Porch

Autumn is New England is spectacular. I have had the privilege of living in a lot of different places in the world and there is truly nothing quite as beautiful. While we wait for all the color to show up here I thought I would add some of my own to the front porch.
I started with a new wreath that I made from items I had hiding in my craft stash along with some purchased floral stems I got for 50% off at Michael's.
A wooden cart I picked up online a few years back serves me year round as a place to add seasonal color. The pumpkins were purchased with coupon from another craft store about five years ago. They get pulled our every year.
The sign I made from a panel of an old door pulled from a farmhouse. My husband's co-worker was renovating and gave it to us!
White mums and ornamental cabbage found a spot on the bench.
Very few of the seeds I planted actually survived the chipmunks and squirrels.
Reusing the ferns that served me well during the summer and pair well with the old milk can and rocking chair.
From the front walk. I love the old bricks; one of the things that sold me on this house.
Welcome fall!
