DIY Bed Frame Bench

When I come across an old bed frame that has great details, is super cheap and can be turned into a cute bench, I pick it up. This twin bed frame was such a great deal and I loved the "scrolls" on the head board. I thought it was the perfect candidate for a bench.
I have posted many bed-to-bench projects and we put this one together just like the others. I did cut down the spindles because they were way to high and we used left over wood we had in the garage for the seat.
I set up my handy dandy {afilinks} HomeRight Spray Shelter and used the [url=http://amzn.to/2dK6Yd5] HomeRight sprayer to paint this sweet, little bench a soft green color.
Once the paint dried, I sanded down the edges to give it a worn look.
This old bed has come a long way since I picked it up at the yard sale. To see more details and the full tutorial, visit mycreativedays.com.

Have you ever thought of leaving the tall spindles on the frame and covering the bench with a netting to help keep out mosquito? We have terrible problem with mosquitoes, anything to help ward them off would be great.
