5 Ways to Get This Look: Farmhouse Style Staircase
This season, I find that I’m really drawn to rooms that are full of texture. That’s one of the reasons that this shot of staircase by Jason Donnelly Photography stopped me in my tracks. Just look at all of the different textures in this space: the straight lines of the planed wood, the bumpiness of the jute baskets, even the very organic grass in the vase has it’s own unique texture. You’ll notice that there is very little color in this space–most of the visual interest comes from all of the different textures.
