Home Improvements store such as Home Depot or Lowes sell hooks specifically for brick in the Hardware Dept.
Other than drilling into the mortar joint, you can use Brick Clips. ***** https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jPqP58FCPDk ***** https://www.walmart.com/ip/Adams-Mfg.-Christm... ***** http://www.lowes.com/pd/The-Hillman-Group-Bri...
I can't use clips, so it will have to be drilled if there is no other way. Thank you
You do not necisarily have to drill, you can nail into the masonry
Masonry nails can be hammered right into the mortar between the bricks.
Since bricks are porous and not smooth, there nothing like tape or putty that will hold. If you decide to drill make sure you use a masonry bit and drill into the mortar joint.
Thank you, everyone. It looks like drilling or hammering is the only way to go. The bricks don't protrude enough for the clips.
