Better Than Backsplash

Using metal wall hangings for a quick backsplash stand-in.
Found these at my fav thrift store for a deal that was too good to pass up (2 at $2 each). They're embossed metal (tin). Didn't quite know what to do with them.
The backs already had hooks, double score. After holding them up to various walls around my house, I noticed the empty space behind the stove I'd been eyeing for backsplash.
Placed them on the stove wall and kinda fell in love with the look! The metal won't fade and can withstand the heat, which is why I felt comfortable putting it in such a high-temp area.
I didn't have to do backsplash, and my kitchen still got a little upgrade. Not too shabby!
UPDATE: Since people have been asking where to find these, here is the item number: H0105RR 12" SQ Tile. Company is Hosley.

In comments, it looks like Walmart, Home Depot, Big Lots, & Lowe's may carry similar items. Best of luck!

When we remodeled the kitchen at our other house we bought tin from a tin company. Used one type as the backsplash throughout the kitchen. But unfortunately it was not cheap. But well worth it!

Have 9 of these same things. However, they've gotten rusty. How can I restore them back to original pieces? Was very glad to see this post. Thanks.
