Garden Fence Lampshade

I fell in love with a smaller version of this light fixture in a unique home accessories store in our town. I couldn't find the vintage version of fencing or fabric that the artist used, so I substituted garden fence from Home Depot and fabric from Calico Corners. The best part - it fits over my dining room chandelier - an easy update!

  • This is so cute! I recently did some Faux bamboo shades out of fencing...I'm hooked on the outdoor isle now! Clipping this!

Great job! I keep seeing hanging lights made with wire baskets, but so far haven't been able to find a vintage basket that fits my budget. Your light gives the same effect, but with materials I can find. Your fabric has a vintage look to it, but if you want actual vintage fabric you could try a search on Etsy.
