Easy
Happy Halloween! Put some craft in your candy for trick -or - treaters this year. So easy to make, you can make a basket full in an afternoon. My version features Saf-ty Pops for young children, but they are also great with Tootsie Pops as well. They are great for school Halloween parties too!
Lollipops Ghosts
I gathered my supplies; muslin fabric, Halloween theme ribbon, small googly eyes and Elmer's glue. I put the lollipop on the fabric cutting a square, a little longer than twice the length of the stick ( about 4" ). Folding the material over the lollipop (see Figure below): cut a 3" and 1/2 " length of ribbon)* and tie just below the candy portion of the lollipop, add a drop of glue where each eye would be, glue on eyes. *note: curling ribbon can be substituted.
Orange and black ribbon ghosts
I like using baskets for treats; I lined a small basket with tissue paper and filled it with 26 ghosts. Have fun and enjoy a safe Halloween!
