We have black metal patio furniture, I wanted matching tables for the set. I Could not find what I wanted so I made them.
Trash can and wood rounds
Cheap easy tables

1. I needed three tables. You can buy these Black mesh trash cans at Walmart

or any office stores. They sell 3 packs on line for $21.00 I think.

2. Home depot sells thick wood pre-cut rounds in different sizes. Mine were

$5.00 each.

3. I purchased exterior paint and primer in one from Home depots. They mixed

the color to match the furniture cushions.

4. I painted 3 coats of Aqua paint on the wood. Allowing each coat to dry for a

day.

5. Lastly I painted an exterior sealer to protect the wood.

6. I sprayed the bottom of the upside down trash cans with a spray sealer to

prevent rust from collecting water in the now bottom channel of the trash

can.

7. I measured and found the middle of the upside down trash can and drilled a

small hole to attach the table round.

8. I did the same on the wood rounds before painting them. Just a pre-drill for

the screws.

9. Once the paint and sealer were dry I screwed the table top to the mesh

trash can and tightened a nut over the screw.

Not a question but you could also attach a small wind chime to the bottom of the round or please a small planter unside.

Yes for inside, but I wouldn't want them to rust if left outside. Thanks

Yes love the idea. Like the idea with solar light and chimes and metal tray. Spray away.
