Chicken Wire Pumpkins

1" chicken wire is pretty forgiving and bendable, thus forming pumpkin shapes from chicken wire is pretty easy to do. I was able to make these in an afternoon, spray paint and all. They were ready to decorate a center piece, mantel, or front porch by dinner time. Tutorial is on the blog.
Chicken wire pumpkins.
Give them a coat of craft or spray paint.
Cut sheets of chicken wire, scrunch and form (while wearing gloves.)
Secure ends with craft wire.

Where can you buy the small gauge wire? I have looked everywhere. Online it comes in very large quantity and is pricey.

@Lynn Vellucci Leahy Hi Lynn, I'm looking at the Home Depot website and it is showing 18 and 24 gauge wire for around $3.00 to $5.00. It is also showing that it is available online for purchase. Copy this and then try your search--> OOK 100 ft. Galvanized Steel Wire 50138 ---> and then try your search. I hope that helps, but let me know if your still having a problem finding it ~ Amy
