Grass Seed Head Wreath

When fall comes...every plant starts wanting to reproduce as fast as possible before the first freeze. I got to noticing how beautiful the see heads looked all mixed together in the landscape. I went for a drive and began to pluck...Yes...it was me on the grassy knoll....I admit it...I cut the grass...not smoked it! ANYHOO....this is what I did...once it was cut! I think it's the perfect addition for my back door for fall.
I love this grass seed wreath above my mantel...but it's way too messy...so it's going out to the back door.
I started with a grapevine wreath...this way...when fall is over...and the seeds are all faded...I can just pull them out...and have a new wreath for a new season
I began to work my way around the wreath weaving the grass stems into the wreath...this really couldn't be easier...just place them like you like.
You could use just about anything for this wreath....and it's FREE...other that the wreath.
