Do you want to strip and repaint or something else?

Stencil flowers, animals, or just designs on them. You can make them feminine or masculine, or neutral with the shape of the design. I would repaint first if they have had the present paint for a few years. Sometimes gets scratched or just changes color to look dirty. Clean good before painting either way.

Good ideas, I would also add trim and change the hardware.

Someone had a post on Hometalk where she added lathe strips all the way around the cabinet doors to look more "cabinety" It looked really finished that way. You could then paint and change the hardware to be more "showy", depending what your style is, I would see longer handles on the lower doors for sure.

You could at lath strips to make 2 separate sections per large door then apply/glue wood appliques (following link has a large number of ideas) Also, you could wallpaper with material using starch as the adhesive. You could use painters tape and tape off areas and paint different colors, you could stencil the front with a love poem stencil, or words of your choice. Too many ideas-hope you find one you like! https://www.google.com/search?q=adding+wood+a...

Paint it, swap out the knobs and put it on big fat feet to make it feel like furniture.

I am not sure of your style. Decoupage (Mod Podge) it?

I'd add some nice decorative molding, paint and add some interesting hardware. Done.

Depends on what else you've got going on in this room or what other decor you're using but you could always glue mirrors to the doors then you'd have full length mirror in the bedroom.

You could add some crown molding or something of the sort to the top/bottom edges. Epoxy it on for a permanent hold. :)

I don't know what colors you like...I love red so I would paint them either red or charcoal in flat finish with some oriental accents in brass at the corners & oriental knobs!
