Come on over to our blog to see how we installed our farmhouse sink. Step by step with lots of pictures.
Our new apron front stainless steel farmhouse sink.
It takes a good strong base to support the weight of the sink.

What made you go with the polish metal sink?

Just beautiful! Our farmhouse is now 111 years old. I would love to restorethe old gal to her original beauty. Someone " updated" in 1940, and again a couple years ago. There is a chimney in the center of the wall that has been walled in , but it is exposed in the attic. Shame. Alot of the interior doors are original, as are a few of the windows. The biggest bummer is the cheap laminate in the kitchen and the original hardwood in the living room is damaged, but fixable. Yucky carpet on the staircase and the other living room. One of these days Im hoping to actually buy this old girl and give her back her glory!!!

@Patricia W Sounds like lots of work, but it would be so rewarding in the end! Good luck!
