DIY Rustic Pumpkin Patch

I made this DIY rustic pumpkin patch for Fall out of some old salvaged fence posts and a few paint sticks. It was a fairly straightforward and simple project that cost me practically no money, and I think it looks so cute on my Fall front stoop! So stick around with me today, and I'll show you how i made it and share a few pictures of it that I never shared last week.
We tore down the fence in our back yard over the summer, and I saved a few sections of the fence for possible future projects, much to my husband's dismay, ha! If you don't have access to old fence posts, you can purchase fence posts like this at most hardware type stores. I particularly liked them for this project because they remind me of pumpkins at the top.
I started by power washing them and allowing them to dry, and next I cut them to size and painted one side orange.
I held them together in the back by using a staple gun to attach the paint sticks to the three pieces of wood, and I used the top of the paint sticks as the stems.
I tied some just string around each stem and they were ready for my front stoop! You can read a full supply list and tutorial for this DIY rustic pumpkin patchby clicking through to the blog!
