Making Mason Jar Ring Painted Pumpkins

5 Materials
Little pumpkins are the perfect Fall decor to tuck into your home to bring that cheery feeling of Fall indoors. These Mason Jar Ring pumpkins couldn't be quicker or easier and add the perfect touch of Fall.
I love decorating for Fall. The beautiful colours, the gorgeous foliage, the cute pumpkins. Fall is only one of two times when I go all out for the decorations in my home (the other being Christmas).

Today I want to share with you a quick and easy pumpkin that I made using a bunch of left over mason jar rings. And of course some paint!
To make the pumpkins, you will need 10 – 20 mason jar rings. You can use as many or as few as you’d like. The more you have, the fuller the pumpkin will be. Paint them all orange; I used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in Barcelona Orange.

When painting the rings, don’t worry about covering them perfectly if you love that worn, distressed look as much as I do. The gold and silver of the rings peeking through the paint makes them look antiquey and old.
Once they are painted, make sure all of the rings are facing the same direction and tie them with a piece of twine as tight as you can.
Fan the rings out to get a shape that you like then use a twig (or several) to create the vine in the middle of the rings. Use hot glue to hold it in place and add some burlap leaves.
That’s it! It really couldn’t be easier. Now you have the perfect little pumpkins to adorn your space.
Aren’t these just the sweetest little things?!

I had sooo many too! I use the jars for so many things and had bags of these ring left over so this was a perfect solution ;) Have fun!

I love this!! I do a lot of home canning and the rings rust after a while. This is great alternative to throwing them away.

Thanks ;) I agree, I somehow accumulate so many rings and this was a great solution to using some. I hate throwing things like that away when they can be used.
