    It says to check out your blog post for more info on tjis...but when I try it tells me blog has been remover.. If veneer is lifted up and wavy, how to fix this proplem?

    One thing I'm wondering....when using the wood filler, how do you get it to match the rest of the wood color? When I worked with filler, I couldn't get it to match. If painting the wood, it wouldn't make much difference but it doesn't stain the same as wood.

    Hi Lyn, that particular filler I used comes with a little tint for lighter and darker wood so I start there but I know that isn't a great match. Then I usually purchase a small stain to match my wood and brush it on. It doesn't matter if touches the already stained piece...it won't really pick it up but the filler will grab it. If the repair is on the edge of a wood top for instance, the match will be close enough. If the repair is on the center of a table or a large section, I would use the filler and then paint the piece. That is the best way to get a seamless match. Let me know if you have any other questions! Best, Debbie
