i love this site, i need to sleep but its like a great read i cant bear not to know whats coming next.the only trouble is that i dont always understand the american terms for things so burlap is hessian here.29 pence is very little money and its autumn (fall) here so lots of real leaves with beautiful hues to collect,i havent had a job for three years and just found part time work so ideas for innexpensive gifts are gratefully received.thank you once again they are lovely,oh i used to work in a candle factory, our candles were bees wax only and really expensive called parks of london but really lovely natural perume oils not artificial. regards felicity

@Felicity I am happy that you have found some inexpensive ideas. I too don't like to spend a lot of money on decorating and I try to come up with things that I can reuse. I have lots of ideas for the holidays so stay in touch.

thank you i will do ,today i placed some cheap ikea candles in candle glasses on top of my log burner waited for them to melt and added a few drops of organic natural oils suitable for candles, added a couple of wicks and now have some very pretty scented large candles for about 50 pence each.
