Beautiful Front Yard Vegetable Garden. It's Organic Too!

As seen here, plant cool season veggies & salad garden in October. Romaine, mesclun and buttercrunch lettuce LOVE cool weather so October is the perfect month to plan them in Zone 7 such as our location in Atlanta, Georgia so that they will become well rooted before the weather gets cold. Lettuce will yield a fall and spring harvest. Plant parsley and various types of kale for winter harvest. Also consider mustard, swiss chard and edible flowers such as pansies.
