Unused ground coffee for deodorizing in the fridge, freezer, old cabinets, trash cans, etc. The fresh coffee will not mold. The used coffee grounds are good for the plants,

Outdoors and in the freezer works really well but...... indoors, around plants or used like it says at the top, brings a lot of flying insects into the house!

If the coffee grounds are kept dry, would they still attract insects?

Do you put water in to keep the flowers alive?
-
Crystal Cochrane on Feb 28, 2017
She mentions flower tubes to put water in or plastic sandwich bags, to put the flower stems in. The coffee grounds are then kept dry.
