Days are getting shorter and darker up north and I love filling my home with cozy candles this time of year. I`ve got candle holders for any occasion and many of them I`ve made my self. Candle holders are so easy to make and can be made in almost any material and shape.
See how you can make your own wooden candle holder in just a few steps.
For this little project you probably already have most of the materials needed in the house (especially if you`re a craft addict like me...)
Materials:

Wooden slices x 2

Leather - I used an old leather belt

Candle holder

Button

Stamp

Paint

Paintbrush

Scissors
How to:

I started off with the wooden slices. One of them I stamped with letter stamps. The other one i painted in my favorite color - vintage blue.

You could decorate the wooden slices in any way or just let them be all natural.
Then I cut an old leather belt in the length I wanted and made a hole for the button.
Attatch the two wooden slices together with a glue gun. Then glue all the other pieces to the wooden slices. Let it dry properly before using it.
Simple and natural!
