Cute and Easy Burlap Covered Pumpkin

I decided to officially ring in the fall season with a fun pumpkin craft! It was super easy and only took about an hour plus drying time. I was inspired when I saw the smaller burlap pumpkins at the dollar store and wanted to create a full size version.
For this quick DIY craft you'll just need a faux craft pumpkin (preferably white), a bottle of Mod Podge, a paint brush, scissors, and some burlap ribbon. If your pumpkin isn't white you can always spray paint it before adding your burlap.
I started by brushing Mod Podge over the part of the pumpkin where I was going to apply my burlap piece. Then I applied the Mod Podge to the pice of burlap before sticking it to the pumpkin. Once everything was coated well I placed the piece of burlap on the pumpkin and brushed it smooth.
I repeated the same steps over and over until the whole pumpkin was covered. I made sure to overlap my burlap pieces slightly so that you couldn't see the pumpkin underneath.
I think it turned out adorable and compliments the small dollar store pumpkin perfectly. I’ll definitely be making more! I love the texture it brings to the newly made over Farmhouse Dining Room too!
