Replacing a valve to the toilet
-
William on Oct 25, 2016Is this the valve that supplies water to the toilet or the fill valve inside the toilet tank?! Do plan to replace it yourself or hire someone to do it?! Plumbers tend to charge by the hour, rather than a fixed price. A photo would help.Helpful Reply

Nancy Wilson on Oct 27, 2016If its the valve that supplies water to the toilet you might want to get a plumber. If it's the refill valve, $5-10 for the kit and it's definitely a diy. Go to an Ace Hardware or Lowes and they'll talk you through it. Lowes can also provide you with a plumber for the more difficult jobs.Helpful Reply

Jerri allen on Oct 27, 2016A plumber is going to charge a minimum of $75.00. You can do it, if you know how to turn the water off to your house. Cost would be about $10 - $15 for the valve.Helpful Reply
