The Lion's Head Buffet Makeover

I got my hands on this wonderful buffet earlier in the year. It sat there for so long because it intimidated me. It had a lot wrong with it but it also had a lot right with it. Including the flame mahogany front and wonderful Lion's Head pulls. After I finally gathered my courage to tackle it, I think we kept the integrity and beauty of the piece intact. Check out our furniture flip.
Here it is before.
Scratches and gouges galore.
Looks like something had been chewing on it at some time in it's life.
But those drawers are to die for. At that point, we updated the pulls by painting them black.
All finished.
The black really compliments the flame mahogany front.
Before and After.

You did a very nice job on this buffet. I know this post is old but I just had to say I'm very impressed with your work and your ability to keep the original stain alive in the middle while adding an extra "pop" to it around the edges. Great job!
