My house is a split-level. I have real grey/tan and some blk in the stone. My siding is tan, shudders are blk and my garage door is white. I would like to have that WOW when people come to my front doors. I was thinking of painting the doors blk.

Paint is so very personal. I can visualize a cranberry red or a copper look, however you should browse through the many color exterior paint inspiration sites to get a feel what would look nice on your home.

Definitely not black, but a huge pop of your favorite color. Since the basics are all neutral tones you can really go with any color.... red, yellow, turquoise, etc -just make sure it is a bold not pale color! Good luck!

    1. Check the colors of the next door and across street houses and do not use the same!. 2. You can buyfor a couple buxks a 25-50 sheet variety pack of construction paper. tape some up and step back and up close. Will help narrow your field.

A vivid aqua, I think. Also, consider painting your white garage door to a color that blends with your house--a grey or tan.
