This file cabinet was this close to heading out the door for a new file-ever-home. And, then a spontaneous decision to test a primer/paint on the back changed everything.
I had no idea I could paint over a laminate surface. I wiped the entire cabinet with bleach wipes and did a light sanding to take off the shine. A few coats of a primer/paint is all this file cabinet needed.
I also ordered new hardware pulls to update the overall look. I have already repainted this file cabinet. The first time I painted it in Beluga Black. I loved it until I updated my entire office and decided to go lighter.
It is currently white with the same hardware pulls.
