If you are looking for unique Christmas gift ideas this year, then check this one out. I'm going to show you a money origami flowers that makes 6 petal flowers. These look so cute and creative - and you can stick them in a Poinsettia plant as a "bonus" monetary gift to the poinsettia plant. This is a wonderful housewarming gift for a Christmas party - or even a great one for a White Elephant or Yankee Swap party.
Materials Needed:

- 3 dollar bills for each flower you want to make (3 bills makes 6 petals - you will need wire to hold them together.)

-Wired Floral Picks

-Floral Tape
This does work best with a brand new one dollar bill. But it will work ok with an older and more used bill - just make sure its not too flimsy or the flower won't hold its shape.
Fold the bill length wise in half.
Open the bill back up and fold over the ends so that the ONE is showing. These will become the petal tips.
After the ends are folded over, now fold in the corners make a point at the end of the petals.
Then fold the flat bottom up to the middle. Do this on both sides. When you are done with this, then you are done with your first set of 2 petals.

Place a few of these in a poinsettia plant - they blend in nicely and are an added bonus to a Christmas gift!! :)

I made mine out of ones. If you wanted to give a larger monetary gift - you could certainly make these out of 20's!
