Updated Directors Chairs

Medium

As soon as my eyes caught these sad Directors Chairs during a Goodwill Tour, I knew they had to come home and receive the makeover they deserved. A little TLC and a lot of love turned these Directors Chairs into one of a kind favorite staples for our Outdoor Movie Nigths!
Directors Chairs, Before and After
Gather the supplies: Directors Chairs, Paint, Primer, Brushes, Painters Tape, Fabric Medium, Acrylic Craft Paint, Freezer Paper, Silhouette (not shown).
Carefully disassemble the chair to prep for paint and remove the fabric. Ziplock bags help for organizing small pieces.
Using the old fabric as a pattern, measure and sew new chair pieces.
While the paint is drying between coats, design your directors chair back in your favorite image software. I designed The Simpsons (the beau) and Batman (mine). Transfer the images and trace the files using Silhouette software.
After cutting the image on freezer paper, Iron, then paint with a mixture of fabric medium and acrylic paint.
