Message in an Ornament Advent Calendar

Counting down to Christmas day is always great fun, and as much as I love chocolate, sometimes it can be a bit much. (I can't believe those words just came out of my mouth). Instead of the usual advent sugar high, how about filling our advent calendar with fun activities instead? We do this every year and it's a great way to make sure you do all those fun holiday things like have a carol sing a long, make a gingerbread house or make popcorn string.
This advent calendar is super easy. You'll need something to suspend the ornaments from such as a branch - or if you have your christmas tree up by December 1st then that works too. Pick up 24 glass ornaments and whatever pretty things you'd like to go inside.
Cut strips of paper and write different activities on each one. These will be rolled up and tucked inside each ornament.
Make sure to label each ornament with a number 1-24. There's a few ways you can do this. I just attached a tag with a number on it. You could also paint a number right on the ornament.
Have a fun December with all your activities as you count down to Christmas! For more details and tips be sure to click on the blog link.
