I have tried all types of waterproof silicones, E6000, etc. I want to glue melted bottles to strips of wood.

Gorilla Glue?? Or maybe, rather than glue, depending on the project, you could drill small holes through the wood that would be hidden behind the bottles. Then thread a fine copper wire through the holes and wrap the wire in a unique way to secure the bottles. Just a thought.

I have used loctite's heavy duty power grab adhesive ( in comes in a caulk tube) to set some mirrors in wood frames. it goes on white but dries clear

Their are also two part epoxies that will bond wood to glass.

Hi I don't think I understood. What did you use lacquer on, the wood it tile? I'm trying to attach glass tile to plywood myself for a backsplash

My first thought was Gorilla Glue too. Do u think if u rough up the side of the bottle you wont see with sandpaper, it would adhere better? Just a (useless) lol thought. Be careful if you do use Gorilla Glue. It says on the bottle that it will expand a lot. If you don't want glue showing, and this stuff is tough, use a little first. I wonder if gently using a clamp would help too?

Hi there, Gorilla Glue is amazing. Believe it or not, I used it to glue my car view mirror on (temporarily) and it held on for over a year!

@Pure Home I really like the way u think! I broke my rear brake light several years ago and glued the pieces back together with Gorilla Glue. The car passed 3 yearly inspections until I sold it! Anne M-Chesterfield,Va

I want to glue a mirror (approximately 35" x 75") to a Murphy bed that when the bed is not in use, the mirror would be hanging vertically but when the bed is in use, the mirror would be hanging upside down. Any suggestions?

Don't if a fracture or a change of style happens removing a glued mirror is a major task as is the glue remnants from the wood. Glue the mirror on to a 1/4" sheet of plywood include width to attach crown molding framing if you desire (crown moldings come with beautiful designs and widths) next know exactly what the wall side of the bed is made of and how thick the approximate weight of the mirror and be sure to check the integrity of the Murphy beds hardware then Web search mirror hanging hardware appropriate for what material the walls of. Your mirror can be moved easily if a passion to renovation happens. I typically only glue glass on artistic objects.

Bettie, I would recommend mirror mounts that screw into the bed frame, not glue.

E6000 will work great. If the amount needed to get the job does is too much . Use 100 silicone in the caulk gun ( Lowes or Home depot) I use this to attach tree faces and it works great!!
