Have you ever bought a gift for your child that was actually for you? That's what this chair is! Thankfully, my daughter does love it but this chair was a labor of love for me and I'm happy each time I see it. Make sure you check out the video!

Before - I bought this chair at a secondhand shop for $40
I used homemade chalk paint (you can check out my recipes) and then I distressed the chair following the steps above.
This is what the chair looked like during the distressing.
The finished chair sitting on top of our piano for perspective. I didn't leave it there but it's so pretty I could have.
