I want to show you How To Make DIY Gold Fall Wall Decor. I spotted something similar at Hobby Lobby and decided I could make my own version.
It was not expensive and that is just my style.
There are just a few components...

1- 9x12 wooden plaque (although, you could use a canvas)

1- Craft Brush

2- Water Color Brushes. (These are for the stem and feathers. So use a size that you are comfortable with.)

White paint-I used Folk Art Decor Chalk .

Gold Tint from Fusion Mineral Paint OR a Gold Paint Pen.
1. I cleaned my wood of with a damp cloth and waited for it to dry completely.

2. Once it was dry, I painted the whole piece of wood with the white paint. 3. When the plaque was covered completely (I painted it 3 times) I was ready to paint the stems and feathers.
I was careful as I painted the gold tint. My first thought was to paint each feather the exact same size, width and length.

After I got started I liked the various sizes better. If you have been following me, you know that I like imperfect style better.
I decided to paint the sides gold to add definition and texture. It is not necessary, but what I liked.
