I've tried everything, baking soda, steam, magic erasers... They don't work except surface stuff.

I would contact the manufacturer since everything you have tried did not work. How old is the oven?

If all else fails try some vinegar sprayed on the inside.

I usually spray some vinegar spray all over the warm oven put down some paper towels on the bottom and add Dawn dish detergent with more vinegar spray all over it usually will lift the crusty stuff off the bottom.. Mary W. Chula Vista,CA

Spray with a vinegar solution. Then place a bowl of water inside and heat at 300 for about an hour. When oven stops, wash with a vinegar/Dawn solution. Like cleaning a micro/convection oven.

Heat the oven up ,turn it off . Set a bowl of ammonia in the middle let sit overnight . Make sure you keep the door closed. The next morning the surfaces will wipe clean .

Tons and tons of elbow grease is the only thing that works! Be aware that ANY chemical you use will flavor everything you cook for the next week.

I have owned and cleaned every kind of oven you can imagine: coal fired, propane, natural gas, electric, convection, microwave and now advantium. The GE Advantium is by far the worst oven I have ever had to clean. Anything that cleans it with relative ease will leave it unsuitable for cooking for multiple heating cycles. The official GE methods are grossly ineffective. "For tough crusty deposits, use warm soapy water." Are you f$%king kidding me? I have seen and tried all the DIY suggestions on line and none of them are efficient. The most popular method seems to involve vinegar and baking soda. Great. I want my third grade science project volcano in my oven! The sodium bicarbonate keeps showing up for weeks after I think it is finally out of all the crevices.

This thing is my best friend and my worst enemy! I love to cook in it because it’s fantastic and fast, but WOW! It’s so hard to clean! I’m kind of a fanatic about keeping ovens clean, and this one is frustrating me like crazy!

Have you tried goggling the make and manufacturer? They usually include a lot of useful info.

Have to agree with the baking soda and vinegar from Milord, just awful and cleaning crevices becomes a new past time.
