I love decorating our home for Christmas! Here in the Netherlands it is really popular to make and decorate your home with 'Kerststukken' during the Christmas period. Kerststukken are basically Christmas arrangements.
The Christmas arrangements usually consist of plants, flowers, greenery, moss, and other decorative items all arranged in a container.
The first one was made using a footed glass vase, a pot of 3 white hyacinths bulbs, some moss, some bells, wooden decorative stars and fake powdered snow.
I repeated the same process for the second one but used a rectangular glass vase together with mini poinsettias and Christmas tree greenery.
It's as easy as that! You can really go to town on these and use your imagination to make some wonderful designs.
This year I will be making some new designs for the blog, one using a low tray and another using Amaryllis bulbs (keep an eye out for those projects over on the 'A Happy Home In Holland' blog).
