Burlap Curtains

I've seen many pictures of Burlap curtains with no instructions.....Some people think they can't do anything with out instructions. But, I fly by the seat of my pants and sometimes on a broom. Yes, gentle and hung to dry. Ive made them for my kitchen. :)

My burlap has a really strong odor, so I washed and now it's VERY fuzzy! Help!
