Foil Homespun Candy Cane Ornaments

2 Materials
I had seen these homespun Candy Cane ornaments at a relatives house last year, and knew they'd be perfect for my little alpine tree.
I was told she used plastic candy canes and fabric strips.. the problem was I couldn't find those plastic candy canes at the time.
So I decided to try the next best thing..? :0)

the aluminum foil method, I cut a piece to the length I thought I would need and rolled it up and shaped it into a candy cane shape.
Then I cut some fabric strips, as well as just used some 5/8" size ribbon and with a dot of hot glue I covered then end and started wrapping.
Then just secured it at the end.
Here I just made 2 using Christmas colored ribbons and then hot glued them together where they criss crossed each other and used some twine to add something extra to it. This cute candy cane leans against my lantern by our tv.
The others, well they look great on my alpine tree! I am going to try this method for other shapes as well!
