Ribbon Wrapped Cookie Cutters

4 Materials
Looking for a quick and easy ornament idea? Cookie Cutters and dollar store ribbon are used to make these adorable ornaments. Great for gift giving , stocking stuffers and ornament exchanges.
I used a set of three metal star cookie cutters and ribbon to make these. Any shape cookie cutter should work.
I put a dab of hot glue on the cookie cutter to secure the ribbon to start. Wrap the ribbon tightly around the cookie cutter. Finish by securing the end with another dab of hot glue.
I used a different ribbon for each cookie cutter and added a piece of yarn to make a hanger.
This project goes beyond Christmas and can be done for any holiday or event, depending on the type of cookie cutter and ribbon. Use Egg shape cookie cutters along with pretty pastel colored ribbon for Easter; use bat cookie cutters and black and orange ribbon for Halloween; leaf cookie cutters with fall colored ribbon for Thanksgiving . . . you get the idea. Snowmen, angels . . . so many shapes to choose from!
They look adorable hanging on a tree. I could see these hanging from garland to decorate the stairs or the mantel. Hang them in the window or set them in a bowl on your table. However you decide to use yours for - have fun with it!

Happy Holidays!
