You will be surprised at how easy these adorable and washable napkins are to create! Anyone who is able to use a sewing machine at a beginners level can make these, and in no time at all. It took me less than an hour to pin and sew 8 of these for my Thanksgiving dinner! You can wow your guests, and use them year after year. I also made some Christmas themed ones. The even better part is that four napkins cost less than $5 to make!
Supplies you'll need include:

1-2 Yards of Fabric

Coordinating Thread

Pins

Sewing Machine

Measure out your fabric square depending on how big you want your napkin to be, adding a little extra for your seam allowance. I did my napkins 19" x 19" so then when finished they were 18" x 18".
Fold the edges over twice to create your hem. By folding twice, you can hide your unfinished edge underneath unless you plan on using a serger. Pin your hem as you go. You can also see more detailed pictures and instructions on my blog to view how I did the corners efficiently and easily to make these napkins look professionally sewn.
When sewing your hem, you are simultaneously creating a topstitch which makes your napkins even more appealing and assures you that they will hold up wash after wash!
I styled them on our dining table with some white plates I had on hand and silverware for each guest! I can't wait to switch these out each season! Don't forget to stop by the blog to view some more DIY projects as well as see more details and instructions on these cloth napkins! Link is below!
