Coastal Christmas | Christmas Tree Driftwood Wreath
Our home is decorated in more of a coastal theme: white, grays, teals, etc. When it was time to haul out the Christmas decorations, I wasn't digging the reds, greens and golds so I decided to work with what I already had going. I used more whites and silvers with accents in teal blues and greens.
Our front porch is decorated with a swag around the door that is teal, white and silver. I knew I wanted a wreath on the door, but didn't want that same wreath as the swag. I had a ton of driftwood leftover from a few previous projects and that's when it hit me - a driftwood Christmas tree!

Gather up your driftwood and arrange them by size. Starting at the bottom of your tree, or with the largest piece of driftwood, take your twine and tie a knot around that piece wood.
Work you way up one side of the tree at a time. I just looped my twine around the rest of the driftwood pieces and did not tie knots. This is entirely up to you how secure you want it or the finished look of it. Once you have one side finished, repeat the same steps on the other side. Then use fishing line or mono-filament line to secure your ornaments and the starfish at the top.
I love how it looks during the day when our christmas lights aren't turned on. It makes our front entrance colorful and sparkly!
Then hang up your wreath and admire your beautiful coastal Christmas driftwood tree!
