Country Shabby Christmas Trees From Some Brown Grocer Bags

1 Material

When Im checking out at our local grocers I am sure to pick paper. I love crafting with brown paper bags, its a matter of recycle and making something nice from nothing. For this craft you will need about 2 or 3 brown bags, some hot glue, white paint, ribbon or what ever you like to decorate your mini trees. I made a group of three Sm med and large. I guess you could go really big with this as well.

The best way to cut a bag up is to first cut out the bottom, the cut down the side.

This is what the trees should like when construction is done

I decided that less was more with this craft but I guess its what ever you like , I added a lick of white paint here and there and then a sprinkle of glitter

I ripped some red plaid flannel strips for garland

Placed them on a galvanized tray with some tealights and this cute lil fellow

A free cute craft yours for the making with some free brown grocery bags. Children will enjoy making these cute trees as well.
